It’s a Case of Rubber Brain

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Is a thought a thought or is it something else altogether. A thought can bring happiness, ecstasy, entertainment and at the same time can bring about our deepest fears and pain. Thoughts can take on a life of their own morphing into a tale that winds and twists.

I talk a lot about the subject of thought plasticity, remember the Robin Williams movie “Flubber” where he plays a scientist who invents this super bouncy rubber stuff. Imagine if you will a single thought as “Flubber”, random, unpredictable bouncing uncontrollably throughout your mind until it collides with another thought. The new thought takes over from the previous and is just as unpredictable and random.

Before long thoughts collide into thoughts, colliding into thoughts spiraling into the infinite consciousness. You might even loop through cycles of thoughts, experiencing emotions with each thought, exacerbating any vulnerabilities and potentially heightening your deepest fears.

It’s a phenomenon which many experience and may just see it as a normal part of life. The question begs, do your thoughts control you or do you have command of your thoughts. Redefining Normal starts with thought leadership and thought discipline. STOP NOW and Realise that You Are in Command.

Thought command is a skill that I have been developing and practicing regularly, It began when my world collapsed 12 months ago. I was heartbroken and defeated and it took everything that I had just to function. Today it’s a different story. It’s a result of some very cool habits and techniques that I engage. I really believe with practice it can help get you back into the game called living.

There are no magic tricks, just practice with some very specific nutritional tools that help keep you at optimal neural performance. Let me say this, you are so much more powerful than could ever imagine. It’s start with the elimination of the Limited Identity that you may hold about yourself and the role you play in the world.

My Redefinition Began with a simple belief that I am greater with so much to offer that I will no longer hold myself to playing small. I can tell you that my life is a different place from 12 months ago. I urge everyone who suffers with disobedient thoughts to reach and come and talk to my team about the strategies we use each day.

Unlocking Autism

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Is Autism really a disease or could it be a cry for help?

Autism was unheard of when I was growing up in the 70’s, for that matter I don’t even recall seeing any kids with Asthma either. More recently we now we see epidemic proportions of kids with varying degrees of ADHD, Asperger’s and Autism.

The Question Is Why?

I feel that the answer lies in the world that we have created for ourselves. Just take a walk down memory lane and think back to your own childhood. Our world was significantly different in many ways – Social and Political Landscapes, Chemical/Environmental Landscapes, the Food Supply Chain and Food Quality, Digital Technologies, Electromagnetic Smog, as well as Vaccination Programs. The bottom line is that the human body is dealing with so much more than it has than any other time in history.

Just think about how the combined impact of the factors listed above may impact human health. The stats are quite clear we have rising levels of almost every type of health condition in western countries. Simply put it means that we have overwhelmingly increased levels of stressors in all areas of life.

A stressor can be defined as:

  • Emotional
  • Electromagnetic Fields
  • Physical
  • Chemical (Direct and Indirect Exposure)
  • Food
  • Biochemical / Genetic Factors
  • Modern Medicines
  • Radiation (Sun, Medical Devices)

You may have realized by now that this is a multifactorial problem. That’s why I believe Autism is a cry for help in many ways. It’s a wakeup call in fact. You could say that we have created the problem and yet at the same it’s like a burning beacon signalling us to all consider change and look at the world we live in.

Stress & Toxicity

One of the hypotheses in vogue at present is “Neuro-Inflammation”. This is a disturbance in brain chemicals that causes inflammation in the neurons (nerves). As a parent or carer it is crucial to be aware of acerbating factors that may heighten or trigger Autism Spectrum Disorder Symptoms. You can make a huge difference through being proactive in your awareness around foods and environmental toxins.

It’s also important to reduce emotional stress especially when it comes to making changes. It may be necessary to ensure that you have a nutritional and gut health strategy in place to support change. If the nutrient strategy is in place first this may help reduce the trauma associated with change.

Anxiety – The Many Fears of Just One Day

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If I close my eyes, it only take s a second to be in a world that is colourful and wondrous, with my imagination I can create anything, music that inspires nations, verse that softens the toughest hearts and turn a canvas a visual feast for the eyes.

Have you ever stopped to marvel at how amazing the conscious mind really is? Our conscious minds are so incredible and so powerful that with a single thought we can experience the euphoria of love and in the next feel the pain of our deepest fears. The millisecond of a wayward thought is enough to set in play biochemical reactions that can negatively influence emotions and bring to the fore our deepest and darkest fears.

To live with anxiety can be like experiencing four seasons in a single day. The day starts with fine sunny weather, by afternoon the clouds have set in and by night it’s a raging storm. It’s the power of our mind coupled with irrational fears that allows anxiety to be powerful and appear so very real.

It’s my belief that our deepest fears come to bare when anxiety is charge. I mentioned in my last post about the significance of nutrients especially minerals. This is in essence one part of the success I have had dealing with my anxiety. My success with anxiety could be compared to learning a new sport, understanding the game as well as acquiring new skills and habits to succeed. While writting this post I walked through the things which I do each day to help manage my anxiety and I have called them the 7 Primary Foundations.

The 7 Primary Foundations:

I also want to leave you with my perspective on how the conscious mind likes to play. I like to think of the conscious mind as if it were like a small child, that knows no differently until it’s shown how to act and what is the right way to behave. The MicroNutrient Connection to Mental Health!

I am going to share something with you all that I haven’t told many people at all! Throughout much of my adult life, I have suffered with Extreme Anxiety.

Most people wouldn’t even know it looking at me, as I just push through it and do what I have to do each day. I recall times when I would wake each morning hoping that the fear wasn’t there. I would wake and feel my body and think If can get to the shower I will be ok and then If I can get dressed I will be ok and if I can keep busy I will be ok.

It became a daily ritual that held me prisoner in my own life. The fear would send my mind into overdrive with irrational fears and BS thoughts. Can you imagine not being able to make a decision out of pure fear? It wasn’t rational and it wasn’t normal to live this way. I now see Anxiety very differently and know the courage and bravery it takes to function each day as it plays out.

The simple solution to my problem was right under my nose and it made a huge difference to my world. What was most obvious to me now was my Nutrient status in relation to my condition.

I soon noticed a connection to specific nutrients and my ability to take command of my conscious mind.

The bottom line….I was nutrient deficient, specifically in minerals and enough water. It wasn’t long before I found it beneficial to consume plant derived minerals daily. I started with specific colloidal elements and then added a rich source of plant derived minerals “I call it Liquid Crystal Minerals”, which I swear by, not just for anxiety for anyone living in this modern world.

The human body need minerals daily! We no longer believe that you can get enough from your diet. It’s time to top up the tank with a little extra help each day! Also known as SALTS, minerals have been used by many great healers of the past and as do many in more recent times.

Floramin is now what I use daily to help support my body’s micronutrient requirements. It is a blend of 30 000 year old peat and a combination of oceanic sea minerals. I just pop it into water daily with my greens. I can tell you that I know when I haven’t been watching my diet and supplementing properly. I become emotionally vulnerable and the Anxiety pops by to remind me who’s boss!.

Just one more tip: Anxiety is a form of stress, the result of increased stress is increased nutrient requirements. Stress not only requires more nutrients it also increases the excretion of valuable nutrients from the body. So don’t under estimate you nutritional needs, stress is everywhere, si it’s a great idea to top up the tank.

Next time I am going to write about how I stepped through the fears and started a process that is helping free me each day from the burdens of Anxiety and how I have started to take command of my conscious mind, in fact leadership of my entire life.
